Where is Darwin Resort located, and how do I get there?

Darwin Resort is located at 378 Stuart Highway, Winnellie, Darwin NT 0820, Australia. The resort isapproximately an 8-minute drive from Darwin International Airport and 6–7 km from Darwin CBDand the waterfront precinct.Taxis and ride-share services (Uber) are available 24 hours a day

What time is check-in and check-out?

  • Check-in: From 2:00 pm

  • Check-out: By 10:00 am on the day of departure

If you require a late check-out, please contact Reception and we will do our best to accommodate
your request (subject to availability).
For departures outside reception hours, please settle your account the night before and place your
keys in the express check-out box located outside Reception.
Late check-out fee: $25 per hour up to 1:00 pm, subject to availability.

What are your reception hours?

Reception is open daily from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
If you need assistance outside these hours, our after-hours support team is available 24x7

I’m arriving late. how do I check in after hours?

If you are arriving outside reception hours, an after-hours check-in will be arranged for you. Detailed
instructions, including your room key and security box code, will be sent via SMS and / or email on
the day of your arrival.
To receive the security box code and instructions, please complete the pre-check-in link that will be
sent to your provided phone number via SMS or email. As part of this process, a $100 security
deposit will be pre-authorised on your card and automatically released after check-out, subject to a
property inspection.
Note: The pre-check-in link will be sent within 3 days of your arrival. The SMS will be sent from the
text sender name “DrwResort”.

What facilities and services do you offer at the resort?

Darwin Resort offers the following facilities:

  • Outdoor swimming pool

  • BBQ area

  • On-site coin-operated laundry

  • Vending machine for drinks and snacks

  • Communal guest kitchen

Laundry costs $6 per wash and $6 per dry. Machines accept $1 and $2 coins only. Laundry powder is
available at the reception for $3

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation policies vary depending on the rate and conditions selected at the time of booking.
Please refer to your booking confirmation
For reservations of more than five rooms, special cancellation policies apply and will be
communicated at the time of booking. These policies will supersede the original cancellation terms,
including bookings made through online travel agents.

How can I change or amend my reservation?

For direct bookings, please email stay@darwinresort.com.
For bookings made through an online travel agent (e.g. Booking.com, Expedia, Wotif, Agoda), please
contact the respective customer service team, as we are unable to amend third-party reservations.

Is parking available at the resort?

Free on-site parking is available for all room types.
Cabin guests have private parking directly in front of their cabin.

Do you offer free Wi-Fi?

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort for all guests.

Are there supermarkets or shops nearby?

Winnellie Supermarket is a short walk from Darwin Resort.
Coles and Woolworths are located in Darwin CBD, approximately a 10-minute drive away.

Where can I eat during my stay?

Popular dining options within walking distance include:

  • Tip Top Snack Bar

  • The Trader (Winnellie Road)

  • Cater Me Café

  • Etna Pizza Shop

  • Fiesta Flavours (weekend in-house buffet. subject to availability)

You can search these venues on Google Maps for directions. Many guests also enjoy the
convenience of ordering meals through food delivery apps.

How do I get to Darwin CBD from the resort?

You can travel to Darwin CBD by taxi, ride-share, or private vehicle. The journey takes approximately
10 minutes. Public bus services are also available nearby.

Is Darwin Resort pet-friendly?

Darwin Resort is not a pet-friendly property, and pets are not permitted on the premises.
However, certified guide dogs are permitted. Valid certification is required and must be presented to
Reception upon arrival.

Do you have rooms with kitchen or kitchenette facilities?

All guests have access to the communal kitchen.
Our cottages are equipped with microwaves, and the two-bedroom cottages feature a fully
equipped kitchen.

Do you offer discounts for group or bulk bookings?

Yes, we offer discounts for bookings of more than five rooms.
